"We know this guy was a lunatic," Kelly said Monday on The Megyn Kelly Show. "And yet the press has gone down the deep, dark rabbit hole of trying to say 'this is about January 6th.'" Kelly was speaking with Senator Tom Cotton. Later in the interview, Kelly also criticized MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski, who expressed her own criticism on Monday morning's broadcast. "Deranged right-wing fanatics, Trump media allies, and some of the most powerful people in the world were feverishly trying to stir the conspiracy theories that distracted from the central political headline of this story," Brzezinski said.  82-year-old Paul Pelosi is expected to fully recover.
