The stage is set for this year's NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors, and once again ABC will carry all the action until a champion is crowned.
While fans can tune in to ABC and hear Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson and Lisa Salters call Game 1 on the traditional broadcast Thursday night, ESPN announced Tuesday that a special alternate broadcast will be available on ESPN2.
CJ McCollum will make his ESPN debut as an NBA analyst and join host Michael Eaves from the network's Seaport District Studios in New York City, as they highlight a special presentation of Game 1 celebrating the league's 75th anniversary.
Tim Legler will also be on the call, as the group will interview legendary guests including Magic Johnson and Julius Erving.
The broadcast will have special commentary, graphics, packages and archival footage commemorating the NBA's anniversary.
NBA Finals: Celebrating 75 will air beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday.
