Elon Musk made headlines this week when the Telsa CEO purchased Twitter for $44-billion. The deal to take over the social media platform put him more on the mainstream platform if he wasn't there already.
With Musk now owning one of the more influential social media platforms, The Hollywood Reporter reports that "The New York Times Presents" documentary series on FX is putting together an episode on Musk and his claims about Tesla's self-driving technology.
The documentary intends to explore "how Autopilot has been a factor in several deaths and dozens of other accidents that Tesla has not publicly acknowledged."
Furthermore, The Times plans to include interviews with former Tesla employees and review the "pressure Elon Musk [has] put on government officials to quash investigations."
"Elon Musk's Crash Course," a new installment in the series that will air on May 20 at 10 p.m. on FX and Hulu.
The newspaper isn't the first to put together this type of content on Musk following his purchase of Twitter. Fox News ran their special on the entrepreneur, which aired on their streaming platform Fox Nation.
