Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' future in America's Dairyland seems tenuous at best. If he is looking for an alternative -- or supplemental -- career, a strong contingent of Jeopardy viewers voted for Rodgers to become the permanent host following the passing of longtime lead Alex Trebek.

Rodgers came in second with 16 percent of the vote, trailing only ex-Jeopardy legend Ken Jennings, who came in at 22 percent. Buzzy Cohen and Mike Richards came in with 4 percent each, and 60 Minutes correspondent Bill Whitaker earned 3 percent. The remaining 51 percent was chalked up as "I'm Not Sure/No Opinion."

Rodgers was a very polarizing option as he led the 18-24 bracket with 28 percent, a market that would be very enticing to executives. Unfortunately for the State Farm spokesman, Rodgers also led the polling at 16 percent of whom viewers would be least likely to watch regularly if they became the host.

Jeopardy is filmed in Burbank, California, down the road from two of the NFL's 32 franchises, though both appear to be settled at the quarterback position. It remains to be seen if he would be able to both continue his playing career and jumpstart his game show hosting if that is what both he and TV executives chose to do.
