The Ringer Podcast Network announced a new seven-part documentary series detailing the life, death, and legacy of former Maryland Terrapin phenom Len Bias. What If? The Len Bias Story will debut June 9 and be hosted by Ringer staff writer Jordan Ritter Conn. Guests on the series reportedly include Danny Ainge, Lefty Driesell, Sonny Vaccaro, Mike Wilbon, Scott Van Pelt, Jackie MacMullan, and Dr. Lonise Bias, Len's mother, among others.

Len Bias was the second overall pick in the 1986 NBA Draft following a banner career at Maryland that saw him earn first-team All-American honors and was named the ACC Player of the Year twice. After being drafted by the Boston Celtics, the 6'8 small forward died from cardiac arrhythmia following snorting cocaine with teammates at an off-campus apartment. This event had cultural significance outside of the world of sports as it spurred anti-drug legislation.

Kirk Fraser previously directed film about Bias' life in 2008. There was also a 30 for 30 film about his life, as well, entitled Without Bias.
