Longtime Baton Rouge sports radio voice Charles Hanagriff announced on Twitter he will be stepping down from his full-time role on Hangin' With Hanny to explore a role in business.

Hanagriff said the last day for the program, which airs on 104.5 ESPN, will be May 28. He will continue at the station in a part-time capacity sitting alongside Jimmy Ott on the nightly show Gametime as well as anchoring the LSU football postgame show.

In a separate tweet, a listener asked about "Match Point," the business Charles Hanagriff says he will be working for. He had this to say about the new venture.

A search for the company in Baton Rouge shows a company entitled Matchpoint Connection, whose employees include Jonathan Pixley, the longtime basketball coach at Baton Rouge's The Dunham School who retired in late March. The company's LinkedIn page lists its overview as, "founded with two goals in mind: to empower talent and support local business, MatchPoint is a platform that allows Brands and Talent to quickly discover, match, chat, and negotiate a promotional deal with ease through its app."
