REDMAGIC has unveiled its latest REDMAGIC 8S Pro series, which boasts the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen2 chip, an enhanced cooling system, an updated design, and up to 24GB on-board RAM.

The major change in the S-model is the use of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen2 chip, which provides a 5% increase in CPU and 5.7% increase in GPU performance.
It comes in multiple configurations, including up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The REDMAGIC 8S Pro also features an improved ICE 12 cooling system with a graphene layer beneath the screen to help dissipate heat during charging. The phone sports a 6.8" AMOLED display with 1,116 x 2,480px resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 960Hz touch sampling rate.
The REDMAGIC 8S Pro includes a 16MP front-facing camera and a 50MP GN5 sensor-based rear camera. The device runs on a 6,000mAh battery with 165W fast charging, and it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port for wired connectivity.
Price and availability
The REDMAGIC 8S Pro base model with 8GB+128GB storage starts at CNY 4,000, while the Red Magic 8S Pro+ starts at 16GB of RAM and 256GB storage for CNY 5,500.
The Aurora variant of the REDMAGIC 8S Pro+ offers separate storage options and goes up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB storage for CNY 7,500. Pre-orders for the Red Magic 8S Pro are now available in China, and it goes on sale by July 11th.
