AI has become a fait accompli in Cold War 2, just like drones. It's therefore impossible for militant activists to stop it. The only thing that can stop the surveillance regimes of AI now is manmade pandemics or an EMP nuclear air burst war, but that is demonic and that is why I obviously can't support these extremely evil measures.
The only chance of stopping AI panopticons today is a hellish scenario: Russia might start a nuclear war if Ukraine retakes Crimea. If you want to preserve the freedom of original humanity, you better hope that the Ukrainians kick Russia out of their homeland, as soon as possible. I'm old however and I'm sick, with no kids, so it's not in my interest to hope that Russia starts WW3.
Since I'm a realist my reluctant attitude today is to accept that AI has become a fait accompli, an established fact. If you can't beat them, join them...
I'm primarily a disillusioned gamer, so I can recognize that AI has some value even from my viewpoint. It can help me modify games that are woke or have vulgar swearing, two aesthetic phenomena I don't like subjectively. I'm actually not happy with the current power of Bing's AI, because it didn't even know the folder location of audio files in the game Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. Given today's unfortunate circumstances, which I now reluctantly tolerate, I hope that each of us get our own autonomous decentralized AI, so that it can help me mod all pc games, especially MMORPGs. The culture war in the West can be reduced if AI makes it possible to create a high-tech society where true diversity is respected.
On a note of Schadenfreude: one of the best aspects of today's AI revolution is that 99% of all (high-functioning) psychopaths will lose their power. They too will be dominated by AI, which is ironic, because these shortsighted fools are now very busy developing AI because they think it will increase their own power. AI however will overwhelm them relatively soon. AI will put almost all human Machiavellians on the scrapheap of history. That's karma, poetic justice.
