Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced its latest lineup of Flow laptops for 2023: the Flow X13 powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 chip and the Flow Z13 with the Intel Core i9.
The Flow X13 that boasts a newly designed 13-inch Nebula Display, upgraded internal components, and a redesigned chassis.
The said Nebula Display features Quad HD+ resolution, 165Hz refresh rate with a 16:10 aspect-ratio panel. It offers an immersive gaming experience with high pixel density and vivid colors.
In addition, the display has a Corning Gorilla Glass DXC coating that enhances surface hardness by 40% to protect against nicks and scratches, while also significantly reducing glare.
Despite being 10 mm smaller than its predecessor, the laptop is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, making it a powerful gaming machine.
The touchpad has been enlarged by 56%, and the battery capacity has been increased to 75 Wh coupled with 130 watts fast charging via USB Type-C.
The exterior of the Flow X13 has a unique 'gravity wave' inspired pattern design that adds grip for easy carrying.

Meanwhile, the Flow Z13, a powerful gaming tablet/laptop convertible, has also been upgraded with its own 13-inch Nebula Display just like in its sibling, Flow X1.

There's a MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology that optimizes frame rates when plugged in and conserves battery life when untethered with no manual intervention needed.
It supports native stylus and tools like NVIDIA Canvas to speed up the creative workflow leveraging on AI.
The device is even bundled with access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, providing gamers with a variety of AAA and indie games.
The Z13 also features a custom vapor chamber and Thermal Grizzly liquid metal thermal compound on both the CPU and GPU, ensuring it remains quiet despite its small form factor.
With its included 170° kickstand, the Flow Z13 is versatile enough to be used as a gaming tablet, controller, or even a full-fledged battle station when paired with an external ROG XG Mobile GPU.
