After signing Tom Brady to a lucrative 10-year, $375 million contract that will see the seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback join the network when his playing days are over, FOX Sports is hoping Brady can join the network's coverage of Super Bowl LVII this February, if he isn't playing in the game.
"If he's not playing in the game, I would expect Brady to be part of Fox's Super Bowl coverage," a source told Front Office Sports. "Definitely. I would be very surprised if he isn't."
The report from Front Office Sports also details FOX is creating plans centered around Brady if the Buccaneers -- who are currently 3-5 -- aren't a participant in February's Super Bowl. One possible scenario mentioned is Brady joining the FOX broadcast booth as a third member, joining Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen. The more likely outcome, however, is Brady would join the FOX NFL Sunday pregame show before Super Bowl LVII.
Brady has shot down retirement rumors recently. A report from Us Weekly claims Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen, told him she is "gone for good" if he doesn't retire. The couple have been the subject of ongoing speculation after each has been seen in public no longer wearing wedding rings.
"I said last week that there's no immediate retirement in my future. There was a retirement in the past, but I moved on from that," Brady said during his Let's Go podcast. "I made a commitment to this team, and I love this team, and I love this organization. I told them in March I was playing, and I've never quit on anything in my life."
