On Thursday, CNN announced that Jake Tapper would be sliding down from his timeslot and into the primetime schedule filling the 9 p.m. hour beginning Oct. 10th.
Former MSNBC commentator and iHeartMedia podcaster Keith Olbermann isn't a fan of the decision and stated that Tapper didn't earn this primetime slot based on merit.
"So Chris "Eats Paste" Licht has managed to reward two folks who've very publicly sworn allegiance to Vichy CNN," Olbermann tweeted.
"@jaketapper attacked "MSNBC legal analysts" who had criticized @cnn for reporting that the now discredited "Special Master" ruling was legit."
Olbermann also took a swipe at Alisyn Camerota, who also got a primetime slot on CNN beginning next month.
"And @AlisynCamerota also gets primetime after her ludicrous positing to Charlie Crist that sure, the DeSantis kidnapping of migrants LOOKED like kidnapping but since they were treated well in Martha's Vineyard, it couldn't REALLY be kidnapping, could it?" Olbermann added to his tweet.
This isn't the first time Olbermann has taken a jab at CNN's decisions; most recently, the political commentator referred to the network's boss as a "TV fascist."
"You can never be sufficiently doctrinaire for TV fascists like Licht and John Malone," Olbermann stated last week.
