MacBeath made the announcement via his Twitter account, thanking listeners to his program for their support. MacBeath was also the program director of the station and he will be leaving that post as well. These last 6 years in radio have been so amazing! I love everyone of you that listened to our show @BullpenUMP I hope you can all be happy for my next step! I have received a wonderful job offer that will pull me from radio! The Trash Pandas are the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. MacBeath is currently also the team's public address announcer. His last day with WUMP is Friday, September 30.
