Just ahead of the start of the 2022 football season, the University of South Florida announced it has entered a three-year agreement with Cox Media Group to make 102.5 FM The Bone the flagship home for the Bulls.
Football games will air live on the Tampa-based station as well as on 102.5 HD-2.
"The partnership between The Bone and USF football is just a perfect fit," said Cox Media Group Director of Operations John Brennan. "I couldn't be more excited for the growth of our brand and to be able to feature such a strong Tampa Bay sports product for our great listeners."
The USF Football Radio Show with Head Coach Jeff Scott will now air on Wednesday nights from 6-7 p.m. on the HD signal and on USF's 24-hour digital radio station, Bulls Unlimited. The coach's show debuts September 7.
Jim Louk will continue calling USF football games on the radio alongside Sam Barrington, with Joey Johnston reporting from the sidelines. 2022 will mark the 26th year for Louk on USF broadcasts.
USF opens the 2022 season on Saturday at home against BYU.
