A state bureaucracy is supposed to be politically neutral, but pro-woke people have hijacked Western "deep states". A conservative working for MoD today is like a capitalist working for the Communist Party. Woke MoD is the enemy of conservatism, and it therefore follows from the premises of moderate cultural conservatism that conservatives in England have a duty to combat woke MoD.
Personally I'm a 70% political realist and 30% conservative, so I basically don't care what MoD does as long as Western mainstream entertainment respects true diversity. Just pointing out that conservatives in the 1970s for example would have sabotaged MoD from within if the UK government had turned woke.
After the Ukraine War started it's not necessary for Western governments to use wokeness as a recruitment tool (in order to recruit tech talents who are woke) because woke computer geniuses will support a non-woke NATO in any case, to stop Russia.
The wokeness of Western governments has become a liability because it makes it easier for Russia to recruit spies in NATO countries. Cultural conservatives will rather support Russia than be part of woke societies in the West, so MoD should think twice about alienating moderate conservatives who are in the tradition of Edmund Burke. Forget about wokeness and return to the moderate liberality of John Stuart Mill. That's how you depolarize the culture war in the West, thereby making it very difficult for Russia and China to divide Western countries.
Seriously, are woke supporters in MoD working for Russia or China? Or are they just Russia's and China's useful idiots?
