Lockdowns can work against common people who riot because of inflation and lack of affordable food, electricity and fuel. But woke people may ignore lockdowns because they and Western governments believe they have a right to march or protest in the streets, as seen during the BLM riots after the killing of George Floyd. After the Monkeypox outbreak in 2022 we have also seen that health officials are not against woke people taking to the streets again, to display their gender identity in public.
Personally I don't care what woke people do as long as they stop spreading woke propaganda in mainstream entertainment. The only cause I care about is that Hollywood and Big Tech should respect true diversity. What leftwing or rightwing people do in the streets is not something I think about. I'm very "live and let live" that way. But in Cold War 2 there are many actors who for different reasons may target public gatherings and use them as superspreader events.
Not sure if public gatherings will cause Monkeypox to spread much this year. But in 2023 or 2024 it's possible that anti-woke autocratic regimes have had time to design or collect viruses that can spread easily in woke settings (without triggering a lethal pandemic).
Woke gatherings can be effective disease spreaders because woke zealots will double down and insist on marching, protesting etc (and then often meet indoors afterward) in order to show that political opponents can't stop them. For example, if they read my article here - which I doubt, because drone-surveillance.info has only 0-10 daily readers on average - many of them will suspect I'm scaremongering and will therefore become even more determined to march, protest etc. Bioterrorists can exploit this tendency to double down and ignore health risks.
To show that I'm not scaremongering let me present an excerpt from Defense Against Biological Attacks , Vol 2 , by Sunit K. Singh & Jens H. Kuhn (Springer, 2019):

Ordinarily it's safe to conclude that DIY biolabs are not a threat, because you need a university degree in relevant microbiology and lab science to create gain-of-function viruses. The main problem however is that NATO's advanced (smart) weapons on display in the Ukraine War have really shaken and rattled all autocrats in the East and South. They are now highly motivated to use any means necessary to gradually destroy Western countries that have a good chance of winning Cold War 2 with the help of AI, drones and robots; new cutting-edge tech which autocracies lack, except China in some cases perhaps.

Gain-of-function viruses developed by conservative or traditionalist autocracies in Africa, Latin America or Asia is an obvious threat to libertines and woke people in the West.
Synbio viruses are the "best" WMDs, next to portable strategic nukes, because they can't be traced, unlike many types of cyberattacks. If you had been an evil psychopathic autocrat determined not to lose Cold War 2 would you not have paid rogue microbiologists and lab technicians to design synbio viruses that can (gradually) destroy superior and expanding NATO countries?
Unleashing a large basket of many slightly lethal viruses will put great pressure on Western societies.
Hybrid regimes or autocracies can even set up biolabs with the help of the US, and then do gain-of-function in secret, which might perhaps have occurred in a Wuhan lab in 2019.
Woke people and libertines who get upset because the world is not like they want it to be should instead realize that everything can happen in the fourth industrial revolution. They can continue to bury their heads in the sand and be angry when critical thinkers remind them of all the dangers out there. Or they can wake up from idealistic illusions and deal with reality.
Western people in general are often shortsighted and easily forget what happened just a few months ago, since they are hedonists living in the now, usually not planning for anything longer than the next quarter or two. When their leaders attack autocratic regimes but don't see any violent response the next 12 months, they think they got away with it and is now safe. Some autocratic regimes can be very patient however and wait 5-10 years until retaliating massively, in a shadow proxy war.
It takes long time to properly prepare a large cyberattack that NSA can't attribute to a specific state. It can also take time to design a gain-of-function Monkeypox.
There are vaccines against Monkeypox, so state-sponsored bioterrorists will probably try to enhance other viruses that are resistant to vaccines. This takes time, but Monkeypox in the culture war is probably going to inspire many anti-woke states and other rightwing actors who see the weapon potential of microbiology. The fact that viruses like Monkeypox are seldom fatal will lower the moral barrier against learning synbio and releasing these viruses in public.
In an age of very powerful weapons and democratization or proliferation of dual-use tech it's only one way to remain secure: deescalate Cold War 2 and deescalate the culture war. Learn from criminal gangs: things are calm if gang members are polite and respectful, but if they start disrespecting each other's basic interests then hell breaks out. Arrogant libertines and entitled woke people should adapt to the new dangerous environment we live in today, but they will probably double down until it really backfires and a major conflagration decimate them. That's how new generations of humans learn things, be they leftwing or rightwing. Little or nothing we can do about it. Let it be.
