KERA, a not-for-profit public media company serving North Texas through various digital platforms like KERA 90.1 and KXT 91.7, has a new Chief Financial Officer.
Nico Leone, President/CEO of the media outlet, announced that Kimberly Singleton has joined KERA as its CFO, per Radio Ink. Singleton arrives from outside the radio business as her previous position saw her as the CFO with the digital pharma startup Alto Pharmacy.
"We are thrilled to welcome Kimberly to our leadership team," Leone said. "KERA is growing at an exciting pace and deepening its critical services to North Texas. We couldn't be happier to welcome Kimberly at this time, to help lead that growth and the organization's financial sustainability."
In her statement, Singleton stated that taking this new role with the radio station sees her combine two loves, using financial data to improve performance and accessing information to impact lives.
"Joining KERA is a unique opportunity," Singleton said. "It combines my career passion of using financial data to drive improved performance with one of my life passions — giving everyone access to information impactful to their lives. I am very excited to be a part of the team."
