UFC president Dana White is a fan of Pat McAfee. He wants Pat and his show to get involved with an upcoming UFC promotion across the pond.
Talking to McAfee on Tuesday, White suggested McAfee and his crew do a show live from Paris when the UFC debuts in the French capital on September 3.
"We're going to Paris, France for the first time this year," White said. "You guys should do a live show from Paris, France with the UFC!"
McAfee at first heard the date and expressed displeasure at the invite because he thought that fell during the NFL season. But Pat was reminded that September 3 is actually the weekend before the NFL kicks off the 2022 campaign and immediately changed his tune.
"We're f--king in!" McAfee said. "OK will you give us a good spot?"
"We'll set it up," Dana White responded. "I'll even kick in some money to help you guys to get out there."
McAfee has done shows remotely outside of the confines of his Indianapolis studio before. Most recently, the show was broadcast live from WrestleMania at AT&T Stadium in April. Before that, the show emanated from radio row in Los Angeles in February during Super Bowl week. The show has not gone live from outside the United States, though, so this would be a first if it were to come to fruition.
