Podcaster Joe Rogan has high hopes for Johnny Depp and his attorney Camille Vasquez. Last week, "The Joe Rogan Experience" host discussed the actor's defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard and what Depp's future love life may hold.
Rogan was joined by MIT research scientist Lex Fridman. Both men believe that Heard is lying to the jury. The trial centers on a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which Heard wrote about surviving a physically abusive relationship but never named Depp, specifically.
"It's amazing she made a career as an actress because she is terrible," said Rogan. There's a lot to that relationship but it's also an insight to fame in a way that we never really had before."
Rogan heaped praise on Vasquez calling her "amazing."
I hope Johnny and her fall in love. That's what I hope. I hope after this trial is over, they go out to dinner, and he thanks her, and then they fall in love, and he gets sober."
Rogan was reminded that Vasquez is dating a man from Britain.
"He doesn't have a chance against Johnny Depp. Jesus Christ. Step aside, sir!" Rogan added.
