One of our cats (they're sisters), MuMu wakes us up on a fairly regular basis. Sometimes, she sees something outside. She jumps on the self by the window, smacks the shade around and yells. I'm assuming she sees the bunny eating, sometimes the bunny triggers one of the motion-sensitive lights. I don't know what MuMu expects me to do.
Other times, MuMu wants to be scratched or brushed. She doesn't always yell for this; she makes more of a soft groan. Lately, she's been getting physical. The following one-liner is how I interpret her action and the voice inside her little fuzzy head.
"(smack) Are you awake? (smack, smack) Are you awake? (smack, SMACK) Oh, good, you're awake. Can you scratch behind my ears?"
This post is part of Linda G. Hill's fun weekly series One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner, or if you would like to join in on the fun, you can follow this link to participate and to see the one-liners from the other participants.
It's going to be a good day.
The sun is winning the battle with the clouds.
The trees on the way to the park are budding out.
One of the bulbs I planted is blooming (and being eaten).
This lilac is ahead of the rest.
I think I'm being picked on.
If you look close, Maddie can still see her breath. It was 34°f (1°c) Monday morning.
Sunshine through the forsythia.
Hartford on a rainy day.
It's sad that they left water bottles less than 100 feet from the bins.
Left on a park bench
These forsythia are not as full. Probably due to the fact that I had to prune them late in the season to avoid scratching the cars.
