A new daily pre-game show is coming to MLB Network just in time for the first full week of the new baseball season.

Pregame Spread is set to debut on April 11 at 5 p.m. The show is hosted by Matt Vasgersian, who will intertwine entertaining and insightful baseball content with commentary on the biggest baseball stories of the day. Fans can expect to see betting insights from analyst Ariel Epstein in addition to interviews with players and personalities past and present.

"Baseball fans are more involved and more educated than ever these days," said Vasgersian. "And the same way players navigate their pregame food spread options, we're hoping to provide a variety of information and entertainment to get fans ready for the night."

Pregame Spread is part of the network's daily studio programming lineup that kicks off with MLB Central every day at 9 a.m. Off Base is another new show that will air daily at 3 p.m., and the network says it's the first new daily show programs since the launch of MLB Central in 2015.
