Jorge Sedano was supposed to be part of ESPN's coverage of the NBA Playoffs on Friday night. That isn't the case now. He is in health and safety protocols and will be unable to be in Atlanta.
Even as restrictions lift and the severity of new variants wain, Covid-19 is still a threat to business as usual. That is the case with Sedano, who says that he is doing fine now, but did go through some real discomfort.
Monica McNutt will step in. She will be on the sidelines for Game 3 between the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks. Dave Pasch will call the game. JJ Reddick will round out the crew.
It has to be a bummer for Jorge Sedano to miss a game in the NBA Playoffs. He is missing just one game though and that could be the difference between the current situation and multiple people missing multiple assignments.
