ESPN's 2021-2022 NBA regular season broadcast window concluded recently, and the network saw double-digit ratings growth across its entire schedule.
ESPN averaged just over 1.4 million viewers for its 83 regular season games. That is up 16% from last season. Studio shows NBA Countdown (up 35%) and NBA Today (up 36%) also saw gains.
Viewership on ABC was also up for that network from the last two years. ABC's 19 regular season games averaged 3.026 million viewers, which is up 12% compared to last season and up 3% from 2019-20.
ESPN's playoff window begins on Wednesday with play-in tournament action.
