Newsmax host Eric Bolling is going after Fox News' Tucker Carlson, stating that his former colleague creates a feeder system for Russian propaganda. Bolling adds that the host has "gone too far."
This marks the second time Bolling has come after Carlson for having his statements played on state-run TV in Russia this month. The Newsmax anchor continued to say Russians view Carlson "as their ally" and reference him as "the guy across the ocean who's helping their cause."
"Now is the time to come down from the ivory tower, time to speak out against past comments, current comments even, or actions that in any way show support for Russia or can be used by Russia in a way to show that any of us support what they're doing there," Bolling said on his Newsmax show.
Carlson has stated that Americans should be more concerned about their border with Mexico. Still, Bolling says that they can care about what's happening within the United States and near the border with Mexico and what's occurring in Ukraine.
"I want to be very clear for our audience," Bolling cautioned. "I'm anti-war and I believe we should always secure America's interests first and foremost, and that of the lives of our own citizens, of American citizens, should matter more than any other. Sorry, but that's true."
"My compadre continues to push falsehoods that Putin and his propagandists are exploiting to show that, yes, some Americans do indeed side with Russia in this war," Bolling said.
Finally, Bolling said that Carlson and those who are siding with Russia would be on the wrong side of history. The host ends the monologue by saying that the Fox News host has gone too far.
"Last night, Tucker, you said our leaders always go too far, and I agree," he said. "But now I fear you've gone too far too."
