Charles Barkley likes Dan Patrick, but not enough to allow him to stay at his massive compound in Arizona for Super Bowl week next year.

On Thursday's edition of The Dan Patrick Show, Barkley asked if Patrick and his crew would do their shows that week from his home in the Phoenix area. Super Bowl LVII is being played at the Arizona Cardinals' stadium in Glendale. Patrick typically does his shows from the host city.

Patrick said he was excited to get to stay at Barkley's place, but the NBA on TNT analyst said the visit would be quick.

"You get one day there, Dan. You're not gonna do all week, hell no!" Barkley said. "Nobody can spend a week at my house."

Barkley said his estate is around 20,000 square feet, and he told Patrick the show could go on from back behind his mansion.

"I got a putting green and driving range and a tennis court in my backyard. You're gonna do the show probably from the tennis court, and when you have to pee, you're gonna go to the guest house," he said. "I'm not letting you in the big house."

When asked what Charles was so worried about, he said he feared Patrick would steal from him. Eventually, Barkley caved and said they could do the show for two days. But Patrick said he would just hit up former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson and they would do the show from his house.

"I'm pretty damn sure you're not going to The Big Unit's house," Barkley said. "He don't allow anybody around him."

Obviously, Barkley was just joking around and this was all a bit. But Charles really stuck to his position about not letting Patrick and the Danettes into his home.
