On the heels of "the most stupendous" WrestleMania taking place for WWE this coming weekend (April 2-3), the sports entertainment juggernaut is planning to release a podcast series diving into the most prolific era in professional wrestling.

Based on the popular The Book of Basketball book and podcast from Bill Simmons' The Ringer, The Book of Wrestling will follow the same concept when it launches on April 4 exclusively on Spotify.

Host David Shoemaker (The Masked Man, The Press Box podcasts) will take a look at the 25 most iconic catchphrases that defined the period of time in the 1990s for WWE that became known as The Attitude Era. The show will tell the stories behind those phrases that propelled the promotion to new heights.

Some easy ones that come to mind include D-Generation X's "Suck it," Stone Cold Steve Austin's "Austin 3:16," and Vince McMahon's famous words "Bret screwed Bret." There really are so many great phrases that came out of the heyday of WWF/WWE.

A new episode of the show will air every weekday for five weeks.

WrestleMania 38 will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday and Sunday night. The Ringer will have content on The Ringer Wrestling Show feed leading up to the event and offer live reaction to how the show unfolds.
