Game Theory will debut on Sunday, March 13 at 11:30 p.m. ET on HBO and will also be available on HBO Max. The premium cable network announced that the show will air (and stream) new episodes each Sunday for a six-week run.
Take a look at the trailer below, in which Jones shares his thoughts on flopping in sports:
"OK, here it is: Flopping, the most Karen shit in all of sports," says Jones as he goes from a barbershop to a record store, then a cab. "Think about it: What does a Karen do? Lie about being attacked, pretend something happened that did not, then try to get the authorities on her side.
"I guess being a Karen is not the exclusive territory of the white woman. Your favorite athlete hits the ground like he got shot, even though nobody touched him. He's doing the same thing!"
HBO also released key art for the show, in addition to the trailer.
Executive produced by Bomani Jones, Adam McKay and Todd Schulman from Hyperobject Industries, Stuart Miller, Morgan Murphy, and James Davis, Game Theory with Bomani Jones premieres Sunday, March 13 at 11:30 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max.
