Author and journalist Douglas Murray has signed a deal to become a Fox News contributor.

A spokesperson for the network tells Barrett News Media that Murray's first assignment began this week on Fox Nation and a show called "The Battle for Ukraine."

Murray, who is based in Britain, is a National Review institute fellow and the author of a bestselling book called The Madness of Crowds.

According to his website, Murray has been a contributor to The Spectator since 2000 and has been Associate Editor at the magazine since 2012. He has also written regularly for numerous other outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Times, The Sunday TimesThe SunThe Evening Standard, and The New Criterion.

Murray will also host "The Battle for Ukraine" Thursday and Friday. The panel includes Pete Hegseth, KT Mcfarland, and Rebecca Koffler.
