Actor Will Smith slapping comedian Chris Rock Sunday night at the Academy Awards made international headlines and was widely talked about on radio Monday.

Plenty of sports radio shows covered the story and over on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, Andrew Filiponi and Chris Mueller used the incident for a segment discussing who in sports they would slap if given the chance.

"I would love to slap Bill Romanowski into another dimension," Mueller said. I would love to slap him unconscious."

Filiponi said he'd slap ESPN host Mike Greenberg. There's just something about him Filiponi can't stand.

"He really annoys me right now. You know why? It's because I've picked up on something he does," he said, explaining that it's a routine delivery of recycled phrases when talking about stories.

"Everything he does is either 'This is the most interesting thing,' or 'I'm just so completely fascinated by this. This is just so fascinating,'" he said. "It's the same delivery style that has the same setup every single time."

Mueller asked why Filiponi didn't choose Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer. Filiponi said he'd like to do more than just slap Glazer. Mueller chimed in saying Glazer would be unaffected by a simple slap.

"Plus, Glazer's got a big strong head, I don't think a slap would do much to him," Mueller said.
