It was only a matter of time before this story came out. TV networks want Tom Brady on their NFL roster. Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reports that FOX has already reached out to the GOAT's representatives. Both ESPN and Amazon are interested too.

McCarthy received a "no comment" answer from all three companies as well as Brady's representation. All three destinations make sense though. FOX is trying to make plans should Troy Aikman leave the network, Brady already has a relationship with ESPN thanks to his Man in the Arena series, and Amazon hasn't yet cemented its broadcast crew for Thursday Night Football.

No NFL broadcaster makes more money than Tony Romo right now. He gets $18 million per year from CBS. A source told McCarthy that any deal for Brady's services would likely blow that number away.

"Brady would be worth his weight in gold. The opening bid would be $20 million a year — and it could go as high as $25 million," said the source. "That would be for either games or the studio. There's no way in hell Brady would make less than Romo."

The question comes down to just how quickly Tom Brady wants to go back to work. He just wrapped up a 22-year NFL career and made a point about being more present for his wife and kids. Would the travel schedule of an NFL broadcaster fit with those plans?
