There was so much hype for Sunday night's halftime show. Gen Xers across the country were as excited for Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem as they were the game itself. The performances didn't just live up to the hype. They may have exceeded it.

Unlike in recent years, this was a halftime show lineup that hit right at the heart of sports talk's target demo. It is no surprise that so many stars of the format, both on radio and television, took to Twitter to sing the praises of the performers.
