Fans of ESPN NBA Insider Brian Windhorst in the Cleveland area will be pleased to know that the Akron native will be returning to the airwaves of ESPN 850 Cleveland.

Windhorst, who hosts the Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective podcast and is a contributor to several NBA programs on ESPN, will make weekly appearances on The Really Big Show with Tony Rizzo and Aaron Goldhammer in the mornings, The Next Level with Emmett Golden and Je'rod Cherry in afternoon drive, and ECT with Matt Fontana and Danny Cunningham during the evenings.

Those appearances will also be available on-demand at ESPN Cleveland's subscription service, The Land on Demand.

"Windy knows basketball and the NBA as well as anyone," ESPN Cleveland content director Matt Fishman said in a press release. "His audio segments are a must-listen. His insight is a great addition to our content offering."

Windhorst previously contributed to ESPN 850 from 2014 to 2018, and covered the NBA's Cavaliers (and LeBron James) for the Akron Beacon Journal and Cleveland Plain Dealer.

An NBA insider at ESPN since 2010, Windhorst appears regularly on shows including NBA Today, Get Up, and SportsCenter, and was recently one of the reporters that broke the news on the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets trade talks that eventually resulted in James Harden being traded to the Sixers.
