Josina Anderson has a new title and a new employer. She is now a senior NFL insider at CBS Sports HQ. She made her debut on the digital network on Thursday.
"I love the people who are involved in the operation," she told Outkick's Bobby Burack. "The people who reached out to me with interest, that is. Feeling appreciated and welcome was a big part of it for me. As well as the opportunity to join this group. It's a talented group."
Anderson's first report was about DeShaun Watson. The embattled Texans quarterback is still on the roster but has been kept off the field in the wake of multiple accusations and civil suits related to his interactions with female masseuses.
In her report, Josina Anderson noted that she has heard that nothing firm has materialized, but with Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve, there are people in the Miami Dolphins' front office that want to make a deal for Watson.
Since leaving ESPN last year, Josina Anderson has stayed busy, stringing together a number of media roles. She covers the NFL for the new USA Today Plus subscription service in addition to CBS Sports HQ and also launched the Undefined podcast network.
