Hardy is going to be pulling double duty as he returns to his rock radio roots. The co-host of Zolak and Bertrand on 98.5 The Sports Hub will now also be heard on sister station Rock 92.9.
Starting October 11, Hardy will be in afternoon drive on the classic rock station. The timing of the shift will allow him to continue his role on Zolak and Bertrand as well.
"Hardy is one of the most talented, creative people I have ever worked with," added 98.5 The Sports Hub Program Director Rick Radzik told Radio Online. "His day-to-day role on Zolak & Bertrand and with 98.5 will remain the same. Expanding his role locally and within the company is a win for everyone."
Hardy will work with Adam 12 on Rock 92.9. The two were also co-workers at the old WBCN-FM. That station was shuttered when WBMX moved to the 104.1 frequency to make room for the launch of the Sports Hub on 98.5 in 2009.
"Adding Hardy to Rock 92.9 is a no-brainer," said Rock 92.9 Program Director Ken West. "This reunion with his former BCN jock mate, Adam 12, adds even more localism, attitude, and music credibility to Boston's Next Generation of Classic Rock."
