CNN is diving into the streaming service as it will launch CNN+ in the first quarter of 2022. As the network fills out programming, they announced marketing professor Scott Galloway is the latest tapped to host a show.
"Think 'Queen's Gambit,' minus the talent and production values," Galloway said when discussing what kind of show he's aiming to have. The marketing professor adds that it will be a program where "the news and conversations where business and technology collide."
Along with his new role with CNN+, Galloway is a professor of marketing at NYU's Stern School of Business. Also, he's the Prof G Show podcast host and the co-host of the Pivot podcast.
CNN stated that Galloway's show would be among the slate of original, live programming available when CNN+ launches next year. Further details regarding Galloway's new program, additional hires, and CNN+'s entire lineup will be available in the months to come.
Galloway isn't the only one hosting a program on the streaming service, as Kasie Hunt, who recently joined the network after exiting NBC News this past summer, is also anchoring a show.
