In view of rising criticisms related to the "algorithmic bias", social media giant Twitter is offering a "bounty" of up to $3,500 to tackle and subsequently root out the problem of online bias. The intention is to reduce "unequal treatment based on demographic differences," caused unintentionally by machine learning models. This initiative is a part of Twitter's "algorithmic fairness initiative" to be neutral and equitable.
