I have been struggling with participating in WATWB due to my involvement with Thursday Doors. Fridays and Sundays are now busy Door-Days, and Saturday and Monday are normal days for me to post. I may have to double-up on Sundays, although posting twice in a day is something I don't like doing to my readers. I tried posting WATWB on Tuesdays, but that sets up a six-day streak, which is something else I try to avoid. Of course, I'm probably overthinking this, as I am wont to do.

Since there is no Thursday Doors Recap this week, I bring you a wonderful bit of technology – Legos made from recycled water bottles. An article in a ThomasNet  newsletter quoted Tim Brooks, the Vice President of Environmental Responsibility at the LEGO Group, as saying:

"We're committed to playing our part in building a sustainable future for generations of children… We want our products to have a positive impact on the planet, not just with the play they inspire, but also with the materials we use."

Tim Brooks — Vice President of Environmental Responsibility — LEGO Group

That Lego has a Vice President of Environmental Responsibility, is inspiring, but not unexpected as you will learn if you read the full (short) article. If, on the other hand, you would like the folks at ThomasNet to explain it, you can watch a short video here.

The "We are the World" Blogfest continues, well into its third year. This blogfest's goal is to spread the message of light, hope and love in today's world. We are challenging all participants to share the positive side of humanity. We hope to share the stories that show kindness, compassion, hope, overcoming challenges and in general, the impressive resilience of the human spirit.
