A New York court suspended Rudy Giuliani's law license for two years for perpetuating lies about fraud in the 2020 election.
Giuliani, who hosts a daily show on 77 WABC is also the subject of a newly released book called "Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency," which accuses him of falsely assuring former President Donald Trump that Vice President Mike Pence had the power to overturn the 2020 election.
Author Michael Wolff accused Giuliani "of drinking heavily and in a constant state of excitation, often almost incoherent in his agitation and mania" in the lead-up to the deadly riot."
Last week's court ruling in New York stated that Giuliani pushed false and unfounded claims of fraud in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania in both official legislative hearings and in the media, in addition to misrepresenting the nature of the Trump campaign's federal court litigation in Pennsylvania.
An excerpt of Wolff's book published on Monday in New York Magazine illustrates the White House's moment-by-moment reaction to the events at the U.S. Capitol.
