Former President Donald Trump has recently ordered his blog to be shut down less than a month since its launch due to the low traffic numbers that the website has generated.

Those who opposed Trump took a victory lap as the ex-president remains offline after his social media ban from various platforms. The blog was supposed to be a way for him to connect with his supporters; however, it didn't work that way.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow was one of the many to poke fun at the blog going offline as he cracked up when discussing the topic.

"He's excluded from all social media, and his blog failed, his effort to change the game (and) to completely redefine the game with his own platform that would have tens of millions of viewers. It failed, and it didn't last a month." Maddow said.

"Yes, he used to be president, but now he's at his house in Florida, arising a beacon of freedom straight from his desk, where you can speak freely and safely — or maybe where he can speak freely and safely, since it's his own desk, and nobody else actually gets to speak there."

Maddow ended the segment by stating it's unlikely to be the last the public sees of Trump online despite not being able to his favorite social media outlet, Twitter.
