The iPhone 12 series' cumulative global sales crossed the 100 million units mark in April 2021, according to Counterpoint Research's handset analyst Varun Mishra. The iPhone 12 series has been the most successful launch of an Apple lineup since the iPhone 6 in 2014.

Apple was able to cross this milestone for the iPhone 12 series in April 2021, two months quicker than the iPhone 11 series. The addition of 5G capability and a full OLED screen as a reason why users were attracted to iPhone 12 series.

Even though this year Apple did not include the charger and the earphones in the box, they still managed to pull off this huge number is a great thing.
