For the first time in history, Cumulus Media's Westwood One will broadcast every pitch of every game of the Women's College World Series, which begins Thursday. The network is the official radio partner of the NCAA, and has broadcast the best-of-three championship series since 2011.
The broadcast crew will feature play-by-play announcers Ryan Radtke and Chris Plank. Analysts joining Radtke and Plank will be former Oklahoma and Team USA outfielder Destinee Martinez, and former Arizona Wildcat and Softball Hall of Famer Leah (O'Brien) Amico. The College World Series featuring the final eight baseball teams remaining will also be broadcast on Westwood One from TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
First pitch from USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium & OG&E Energy Field in Oklahoma City is set for noon Thursday as overwhelming tournament-favorite Oklahoma takes on James Madison. The games can be heard nationwide across terrestrial stations, SiriusXM, TuneIn, and Alexa-enabled devices.
