"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will be signing off in 2022. Although 2021 is hitting the halfway mark, Ellen DeGeneres camp is already preparing for her favorite celebrities to join her on the final shows.
According to the New York Post, various Hollywood celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Justin Bieber, and Kevin Hart have been approached by her producers for taping in April '22 to bid farewell to DeGeneres.
"Ellen's staff has already been out to high-profile reps to get their talent on board for one big final week. The plan is to tape a job lot together, so Ellen leaves with a bang," a source told The Post.
Recently, DeGeneres dealt with allegations of harboring a toxic work environment but stated to "Today" anchor Savannah Guthrie that the attacks felt orchestrated along with misogynistic.
"I mean, I really don't understand it. I still don't understand it," DeGeneres said. "It was too orchestrated. It was too coordinated. And you know, people get picked on, but for four months straight for me, and then for me to read in the press about a toxic work environment when all I have ever heard from every guest that comes on the show is what a happy atmosphere this is and what a happy place it is."
