At present , robots would deliver medicines and the most essential services to Covid-19 patients at a hospital in Assam, officials said here on last Sunday.
The robots designed by the Guwahati-based Yantrabot TechnologiesPvt Limited with remote controllable robotic vehicles would deliver food, medicines and other essential to Covid-19 patients.
It could also help the patients with extremely contagious diseases inside the isolation chambers of the quarantine facilities.
It is mainly designed to assist or replace health workers i.e., it could perform the activities of a typical nurse.
It is named as "DUBOORI" and it can assist health workers to look after positive patients.
